Accelerating the commercial readiness & market traction of Startups

This week we have delivered the last session, of a series of workshops, covering various entrepreneurial marketing & sales topics at the Haifa hub of the EIT Food Accelerator Network, located at the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Engineering, Technion.

In the workshops participated founders and entrepreneurs from ground-breaking food-tech startups, joining from different countries including Germany, Austria, Serbia, UK, Finland and Israel.

The overall objective of these intensive 'hands-on' workshops was to accelerate the commercial readiness and market traction of the new ventures. During the workshops the participants faced challenging questions, ideas and assignments, coming out with some practical marketing and sales insights to be implemented as they move forward.

These workshops are an integral and crucial part of the accelerator participants' journey, providing them with better chances to win customers & funds, shortening their time to market.

The workshop sessions covered the following topics:

  1. Entrepreneurial marketing: challenges in a corporate world.
  2. Marketing strategies: from entry to growth.
  3. From Go to market to scaling.
  4. Pricing for value & profitability.
  5. Selling to corporates: processes, KSF & competencies.

Each session included some principles session, personal assignments as well as group debate and Q&A.
